The University Church at Yale is a unique Christian community, with roots in the original Yale College chapel established in 1757.  We are a student-oriented church to which everyone: faculty, student, neighbor, staff, post-doc, parent or visitor, is welcome.  We worship every Sunday of the year at 10:30 a.m. in Battell Chapel, on Old Campus at the corner of College and Elm Streets in downtown New Haven. 

Our worship is as eclectic as the Yale community, combining classic traditions of the ecumenical Christian Church with personal and informal expressions of our remarkable diversity as a community of faith.  We are committed to serving Jesus Christ at Yale and around the world with excitement, humility, curiosity, and compassion for all.  We have a wonderful music program, combining the best of traditional sacred choral and organ music with contemporary Christian choir music from across the globe.  Sunday morning is never dull!
