Yale Women's Network Dinner

 

Join YaleBoston at the next Yale women’s network dinner! On Thursday, June 20th, we will go to the Budda Restaurant in Brookline. At this meeting of what has rapidly become an international network, we will continue getting to know one another. How can we support each other? What do you want in your life?

Don’t miss the chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and share experiences. Please join the conversation as we continue launching the Yale women’s network Greater Boston chapter. We hope to examine where we’ve been, where you think we are, and where we want to go.

Menu: The menu will include at least two courses. We will have fish, meat, and/or chicken entrees; vegetarian entrees; and a cash bar. If you have any medically based dietary needs, please contact the restaurant directly.

While we allow late registrations and walk-ins in an attempt to accommodate everyone, the restaurant needs a final head count one week in advance. Please e-mail LisaAG@aya.yale.edu by June 12th if you plan to register after that date. We need the most accurate possible head count in order to ensure sufficient food for everyone.

Budda Restaurant - 1223 Beacon Street, Brookline (map) 

From Boston: Take the green line “C” train towards Cleveland Circle. The Budda Restaurant sits at the St. Paul’s Street stop directly across from the Holiday Inn. St. Paul’s is only a few stops after the T goes above ground past Kenmore Square.

From Cambridge: Take the #66 Harvard Square/Dudley bus to Coolidge Corner. In normal traffic, it takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the red line to Park Street station and then take the green line as described above.

Parking: You can park on Beacon Street and on many of the side streets. Please note that meters may go until 8:00 p.m.

Should on-street parking prove scarce, Coolidge Corner has a large public lot behind the movie theater. If you head west (towards Newton from Boston) on Beacon Street, you pass Harvard Street at the center of Coolidge Corner. Take the next right onto Centre Street to access the lot on your right. Meters cost $1.00 per hour, but you only have to pay until 8:00 p.m.

If you search “Coolidge Corner parking” you will also find several smaller lots around Coolidge Corner. In addition, the Holiday Inn has an indoor lot which costs significantly more than the outdoor lots. The entrance sits just beyond Powell Street when heading west on Beacon Street.
