Ten-year plan outlines strategic priorities
After a yearlong process that solicited input from faculty, students, staff, alumni, board members, and other partners, the School of Music has outlined three priorities that will define the next decade: (1) career readiness, (2) collaboration and community engagement, and (3) strengthening financial infrastructure. String quartet wins competition
In December, the Terra String Quartet, YSM’s Fellowship Ensemble-in-Residence, won the Naumburg Competition in chamber music. They join an extraordinary roster of past winners, including the Miró Quartet, Eighth Blackbird, the Emerson String Quartet, and—their own mentors at YSM—the Brentano String Quartet.
