Yale College receives top ranking for veterans

In September 2022, US News and World Report ranked Yale College #1 for veterans. Schools included in this category needed to be certified for the GI Bill and participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program or be a public school. In addition, Yale College has seen considerable growth in undergraduate veteran enrollment in recent years, increasing from six who were enrolled in 2015–16 to 36 who are currently enrolled—one of them as a traditional undergraduate, three as transfer students, and 32 through the Eli Whitney Students Program.
