Global Network hosts EMBA students
More than 180 executive MBA students from across the Global Network for Advanced Management participated in the first Global Network Week for EMBA students from June 13 to 17. The students participated in modules hosted by seven network schools, covering topics from The Future of Food to Behavioral Science and Management. While EMBA students have been able to participate in Global Network Week in the past, these specialized offerings are tailored for what mid-career professionals may be currently encountering in their fields, while also providing them the opportunity to network and collaborate with fellow EMBA students.
Silver Scholars program marks 15 years
Current students and alumni of Yale SOM’s Silver Scholars program commemorated two milestones this past spring: the program’s 15th anniversary and its 100th graduate. At an event in May, students and alumni paid tribute to Professor Barry Nalebuff, who helped create the Silver Scholars program and has since recruited and mentored students in the program. The Silver Scholars program offers college seniors the opportunity to accelerate their careers by pursuing an MBA immediately after graduation. Students spend a year at Yale SOM, complete an extended internship of a year or more, and then return to Yale to complete the MBA program.
