DC post for Yale prez?

By the time you read this magazine, Yale president Richard Levin '74PhD either will or won't have a new job in the Obama administration. At press time in mid-December, Levin was one of three finalists for the directorship of the National Economic Council and was also a candidate to chair the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. The former job—but not the latter—would require Levin to leave Yale. Levin's only statement on the matter, to the Yale Daily News,was noncommittal: "I love my job, and I'm not looking to leave."
