James Prosek: Suriname Artist, writer, and naturalist James Prosek ’97 intentionally distorted the animal paintings he created on a 2010 trip to Suriname, to represent the inevitable distortion that occurs when humans try to define nature. Actual specimens collected on the trip are also on display.
