Apple isn’t the only new addition to the campus area this fall: a recent graduate and a group of undergrads have also gotten into the act. “Living off-campus, it was very difficult to eat healthy,” says Jerry Choinski ’12, one of the three seniors who started theLittle Salad Shop (top) on High Street. The shop offers 12 signature salads and will make salads to order for customers. On York Street is Chairigami, where Zachary Rotholz ’11 sells cardboard furniture he developed as part of his senior project in engineering. (He turned it into a business with help from the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute.) “The thing about cardboard is that everyone can relate to it,” he says. And don’t worry: it’s all dependably load-bearing.
