Mark Zurolo ’01MFAView full imageThis past summer, staffers and students at the Yale University Art Gallery ventured out to Chapel Street on Thursday afternoons to offer Sidewalk Studio, a free art activity for passersby. Among the projects were paper-making, “sun prints” on photo-sensitive paper, and cartography. “We were pretty delighted by what happened,” says Molleen Theodore, the gallery’s assistant curator of programs. “People waiting for the bus came over, some of whom said they’d never been inside the gallery before.”
