Mark Zurolo ’01MFAView full imageSculptor Erwin Hauer ’57ArtS (1926–2017) found his subject in 1950, early in his career: as he put it, “I developed a series of works that were modular in structure and featured surfaces that were continuous throughout the sculptures.” Hauer, who taught at the School of Art and in Yale College from 1957 to 1990, explored this idea for the rest of his life, creating both art pieces and a series of architectural screens that were marketed commercially. An exhibition of his work, titled Still Facing Infinity, runs through November 16 at the School of Architecture.
