View full imageUnlike some colleges, Yale brought a limited number of undergrads to campus last fall, despite the pandemic. How did it go? Not so bad. Precautions such as quarantine on arrival, twice-weekly testing, remote classes, masks, and contact tracing kept numbers in the low double digits. This chart shows the number of positive tests per week, from the arrival of students in August to their departure just before Thanksgiving. Says COVID-19 coordinator Stephanie Spangler, “The Yale community’s unflagging diligence in following health and safety measures made a successful on-campus Yale experience possible this fall.”
