Light & VerityHome sweet field houseA well-appointed new facility for lacrosse and soccer. Yale AthleticsView full imageAfter a pandemic year with no competition, Yale’s varsity teams are eager to get back to sports this fall—perhaps none more than the soccer and lacrosse teams, which will enjoy a new field house next to their home field, Reese Stadium. The Tsai Lacrosse Field House is named for former Yale lacrosse player Joseph Tsai ’86, ’90JD, who with his wife Clara Wu Tsai gave a major donation toward the building. The building is equipped with locker rooms and offices, exercise and sports medicine facilities, and a team room overlooking the field that becomes a VIP viewing area on game days. Women’s lacrosse coach Erica Bamford calls it “the nation’s premier lacrosse facility” and says it will be a recruiting draw for Yale.
