A few thousand students braved the rainy weather on May 2 to celebrate the first Spring Fling on Old Campus since 2019. Student bands kicked off the musical lineup at around 3:30, followed by Japanese Breakfast, Masego, Sofi Tukker, and, finally, rapper Aminé (above) as the star attraction.

“Even though everyone was soaking wet during Japanese Breakfast’s performance, they were happy to sing along with their friends,” says Fling committee member Zack Hauptman ’25. He adds that planning the event was a challenge: “Most of our committee had never experienced a Spring Fling.” And, of course, every committee member had to be trained in how to check a vaccination record.
