More than a hundred students, some decked out in cowboy hats and boots, danced the night away on Beinecke Plaza on the evening of Saturday, September 16. At left is Zach Scott ’25—the social chair of the Yale Ballroom Dance Team—leading the way, along with Mikaele Ymker ’25 (not visible here), each of them showing the somewhat confused dancers how to follow in their footsteps. Scott came up with the idea for this Dance Team event, “Boot Scootin’ Beinecke,” over the summer while he was teaching line dancing in Colorado.
