ObituariesIn Remembrance: Stephen Jay Lipson ’68 Died on December 17 2013Stephen Jay Lipson died December 17, 2013, following a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was 67. A graduate of Yale College and Harvard Medical School, Lipson served as orthopedic surgeon-in-chief at Beth Israel Hospital between 1992 and 2001. When multiple sclerosis slowed him down, he continued work in the medical field by seeing patients at clinics in Harvard Vanguard and focusing on teaching and alumni affairs at Harvard Medical School. He was also active as an editor for multiple medical journals. A full obituary was published in the Boston Globe on December 18, 2013. |
