ObituariesIn Remembrance: Chauncey Goodrich ’42 Died on November 14 2013Chauncey Goodrich, 93, died on November 14, 2013. He studied Japanese and eventually served in the occupation headquarters in Tokyo after World War II. After the war, he earned his PhD in Classical Chinese from UC Berkeley. He was an active member of the American Oriental Society, primarily as Far Eastern editor of the AOS journal and as a participant in annual conferences. He was the society's president from 1998-99.
