At Yale College, he was a member of the Elihu Senior Society, secretary of the Aurelian Honor Society, a member of the Elizabethan Club, and an editorial assistant for the Review of Metaphysics. He studied with the great legal philosopher H. L. A. Hart at New College in Oxford University as the C. P. Howland Fellow, receiving a degree in political theory and legal philosophy. At Yale Law School, he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal. The New York Times published his obituary on January 19, 2014. |
