In Remembrance: Margaret Brown ’58BD Died on January 3 2014

Margaret Brown, 80, died on January 3, 2014. Born in Denver, Colorado, she enjoyed summers riding and hiking in the mountains. But at age 14, she contracted polio and was hospitalized for 6 months. Although left with a permanent disability, she forged through life with an indomitable spirit, a deep intellectual curiosity and spiritual awareness, and a keen sense of humor.  

In 1969, she joined the faculty of Norwalk Community Technical College in Norwalk, Connecticut, and taught Philosophy and Religion for 25 years. She received a Merit Award from the College in 1985.
