Upon graduation from Yale, she enlisted in the US Army Nurse Corps and served her country as a first lieutenant in the Pacific theater during World War II. After the War, she moved to Wilmington, Delaware, and became a nursing instructor at the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing. The News Journal published her obituary from January 26 - 29, 2014. |
