In Remembrance: Robert E. Cooke ’41, ’44MD Died on February 2 2014

Robert E. Cooke MD died February 2, 2014, at the age of 93.  He served as medical adviser to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, and was instrumental in the development of the Great Society program, Head Start, and the Kennedy-Krieger Institute.  He taught at Yale in the early 1950s.
