He served in the US Army as an engineer during the Korean War, then had a successful early career as a sports car racer in the US and Canada. He was also active int he local community, serving as Chairman of the Laconia-Gilford-Gilmanton Supervisory Union in Gilford, Connecticut, and and as member of the Gilford Budget Committee. The Laconia Daily Sun published his obituary on February 24, 2014. |
