Gordon, orthopedic surgeon and clinical professor at Georgetown University Hospital, passed away at his residence in Washington, DC. He was awarded the Georgetown University Medal of Honor for his clinical expertise and excellence in teaching and was part of one of the first medical delegations invited to post-cultural revolutionary China in the 80s.
