He served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1969, and then for many years as chief of surgery at Brockton Hospital. At the same time he directed surgical education at the hospital and was a clinical professor of surgery at Boston University School of Medicine. A full obituary was published by the Boston Globe on June 28, 2014. |
