ObituariesIn Remembrance: Richard F. Clapp ’43MPH Died on August 14 2014Richard Franklin Clapp passed on August 14 at age 97. Though born in Brattleboro, Vermont, he grew up in New Haven and went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut and later the Yale School of Public Health. In 1940 he became the first Sanitarian to be employed after competitive examination by the New Haven City Health Department. A full obituary was published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on September 7, 2014.
