He came to the US from Hungary in 1956, after having been held in a prison camp for 7-1/2 years. After earning a master's degree in the history of science and medicine at Yale in 1967, he served as head of Yale's Medical Historical Library for 26 years. An obituary was published in the New Haven Register on October 12, 2014. |
