My child and his grandson Gabriel were children and friends together in Brookline, MA. I thought it a terrific, wonderful coincidence that Stan reappeared in my life some 22 years after I graduated from Clark University, through his grandson's friendship with my daughter. I took Stan's Lawrence and Joyce class, and he was a gifted and astute and engaging professor. One of my favorites at Clark. May Stanley Sultan's memory be a blessing.
