I was in Franks first class he taught at Tyler. From the first day, he impressed us all with his knowledge and enthusiasm. That never waned. It was always fun to go to his house. Lots to see, wife Karen was always charming. He was so proud of his son Reid. Once Frank took baby Reid to a Red Grooms lecture. The next day Frank said, “Did you notice how Reid only cried at the right moments?” lol, Sorry Frank, there were no “right” moments. I last saw him randomly at an art show we both had pieces in, several years before he passed away. That was a great time. I learned more from Frank than any other teacher.
