In Remembrance: Francis de Tarr ’49, ’58PhD Died on December 31 2016

Historian, writer, and diplomat Francis de Tarr passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2016. He was 90.  During a 26-year career he served all over the world as a US diplomat, and was awarded the French Legion D’Honneur in 2004.
