Obituaries

In Remembrance: Philip C. Curtis Jr. ’55PhD Died on December 19 2016

Phil Curtis passed away on December 19, 2016, at home in Los Angeles.  He was 88.  He was a professor in the mathematics department at UCLA for more than 50 years, and was known for his pioneering theoretical work in the Banach Algebras.
