Philip Dikeman ’87MusM Died on April 20 2017Philip Dikeman, associate professor of flute at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, died from cancer on April 20, 2017. He was 54. He performed with a number of renowned ensembles through his distinguished career, and was on faculty at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp. At the time of his death he was also acting principal flute of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The Detroit Free Press carried a full obituary on April 29, 2017. |
