He began teaching photography at Yale in 1979, and was named dean in 1996, serving for ten years. Marta Kuzma, dean of the School of Art, has written an open letter to the community announcing Benson's death, which is posted on the school's website along with a tribute from Professor Emeritus Tod Papageorge. |
