After his marriage, he and his wife Linda moved to Guatemala, where he worked as a soils engineer for Brown & Root Overseas, while his wife performed as part of an expatriate theater company and filed stories about their adventure for the Seattle Times. He continued to work in soils engineering, in many capacities, for the rest of his life. The obituary was carried in the Seattle Times on May 25, 2017. |
