In Remembrance: William F. Starr ’55 Died on February 11 2017

Rev. Dr. William F. Starr  ’55, 83, passed away on February 11, 2017.  He was the Episcopal campus minister at Columbia University from 1965 to his retirement in 2002.  He was arrested several times during his career for his activisim on behalf of unions, a Rape Crisis Center, a campaign for Columbia to divest from South Africa, and many others.

The obituary was published in the Martha's Vineyard Times on February 20, 2017.
