He was a staff psychiatrist in the United States Navy, and later spent 27 years as an attending neurosurgeon and chief of neurosurgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center and Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He was also a clinical faculty member at Columbia University. He was portrayed by Leonard Nimoy in the movie "Seizure." The obituary was carried in the New York Times on April 2, 2017. |
