In Remembrance: Stephen F. Gates ’68 Died on July 7 2017

Stephen F. Gates ’68, 71, passed away on July 7, 2017.  He began his law career in private practice, but later became General Counsel at Amoco Corporation, FMC Corporation, and ConocoPhillips.  He was Director of the Newberry Library, and collected maps and globes.

The obituary was carried in the Charleston Post & Courier on July 15, 2017.
