In Remembrance: Alan D. Sisitsky ’67JD Died on July 7 2017

Alan D. Sisitsky ’67JD, 75, passed away on July 7, 2017.  He was a Massachusetts State Representative from 1968 to 1972 and a Massachusetts State Senator from 1972 to 1982.  Later, he was a practicing attorney in Springfield.

The obituary was carried in the Republican on July 8, 2017.

    My name is Francis Mandewah. I came to know Attorney Alan D. Sisitsky because I was one of his 15 students in his Public Management class at AIC, in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1991.

    Professor Sisitsky was not only a super highly educated Harvard and Yale law graduate who served in the Massachusetts State Senate and later private practice, but I also found out from my neighbors and residents of City of Springfield that Alan was a meek and humbled lawyer, who was truly for the little guy...., who was well known for representing clients in court who didn't have any money. RIP!
