ObituariesIn Remembrance: Herbert Daniel Safford ’72MA Died on August 15 2017Herbert Daniel Safford was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, and attended Yale for his graduate studies after attending the University of Vermont. During the Vietnam War, Safford served as a first lieutenant in the US Army. A keen caver, he discovered virgin passage in Virginia's Clover Hollow Cave. He passed on August 15, 2017, at home in Dunlap, Tennessee. A full obituary is posted on the Afterlife website. |
