ObituariesIn Remembrance: Channing Baxter `49 Died on June 30 2017Channing Baxter `49 was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1927. He attended the Choate School in Wallingford, CT before earning a degree in economics from Yale. His career was in banking and stocks, but also had a fulfilling side career as an organist and choirmaster. He served at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in the Special Operations Division as a Lieutenant JG.
