In Remembrance: Frederick W. Richards ’60LLB Died on December 13 2017

Frederick W. Richards passed away on December 13, 2017, in Merritt Island, Florida. He was 82. He served in the US Air Force as a JAG officer, and then practiced law in New Jersey and Florida until retirement in 1997.

    Mr. Richards was my fathers' family attorney while living in Edison, Nj. As a 10 year old he was the attorney who took on a personal injury case for my family when I was injured in a fireworks accident, and lost the vision in my left eye. As a 15 year old, he did the probate work on my father's estate and I had contact with him after I reached 18 and later after I graduated from Rutgers. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Richards and he was an attorney who exemplified the best in the profession. Knowing him the way I did over the years, I was sadden to know about his passing. A person with intellect, character and a heart of gold, I feel highly privilege to have known him. Rest in Peace.
