Don Faulkner taught me at the Yale Summer Writing Program, and for several semesters during law school and seminary. He was a brilliant teacher. I just learned of his passing recently and will miss him.

Don Faulkner taught me in the only creative writing class I ever took, at Yale, in the Fall of 1990. He was a brilliant teacher, a kind man, a generous and rigorous and loving mentor. I'm so sad to learn that he died so young. Thank you, Don, for all you gave me. You always believed I could be a writer, and I finally became one. www.priscillagilman.com
