In Remembrance: Walter Mead ’60BD Died on August 8 2018

Walter Mead passed away on August 8, 2018. After graduating from Yale Divinity School in 1960, Mead went on to teach at Lake Forest and Illinois State University. Mead was dedicated to civil rights as well as academia and was arrested in 1962 during a sit-in for trying to integrate a restaurant in Durham, North Carolina.
