In Remembrance: John Barnum ’44 ’57JD Died on July 23 2018

John Wallace Barnum passed away on July 23, 2018. After serving in the Army and graduating from Law School, Barnum worked as an associate and then partner at Cravath, Swaine, and Moore in New York. During the Nixon and Ford administrations, Barnum also worked as a deputy secretary for the United States Department of Transportation. In his spare time, Barnum enjoyed the arts, serving on the New York City Center for Music and Drama, Arena Stage in Washington, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
