At the age of seventeen, Palmer enlisted in the war, serving in the Navy Medical Corps. After graduating from Yale several years later, Palmer moved to San Fransisco where he established his own architecture company. In his free time, Palmer enjoyed boating as a member of the St Francis Yacht Club. |
