In Remembrance: Doris L. Wethers ’52MD Died on January 28 2019

Dr. Doris L. Wethers passed away on January 28, 2019, at the age of 91. Just the third black woman to graduate from Yale Medical School, she went on to break racial barriers in the medical field and gain renown as a pioneer in the fight against sickle cell anemia.
