ObituariesIn Remembrance: Owen Birnbaum ’47JD Died on May 16 2013Owen Birnbaum died May 16. He graduated from Long Beach High School (New York), Cornell University ’45, and Yale Law School ’47. He was an attorney with the US government for 35 years and an adjunct professor at Howard Law School for 22 years. He was an avid tennis player for many years and excelled at competitive table tennis. He is survived by his beloved wife, Claire Weil Birnbaum, to whom he was married 62 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Jane Birnbaum of Washington, DC; son, Andrew, of Keedysville, Maryland; and a grandson, Sam Birnbaum. —Submitted by the family |
