In Remembrance: William H. Walls ’57LLB Died on July 11 2019

Senior US District judge William H. Walls died suddenly of a heart attack on July 11, 2019. He was 86. Walls was the first male African American judge to sit on the federal bench in New Jersey, and had a reputation for being outspoken, sharp-witted, and irascible, as well as being a "first-rate jurist."
