Ann Ballard Blake lived 64 years, as long as she could. She left us on the 2nd of June 2019, surrounded by kindness and care.
Ann loved her family and friends, so many of us, and she gave us so much.
Ann loved learning. From classrooms in Washington DC, Istanbul, Dar es Salaam, Houston, College Station, Corpus Christi, and Tallahassee, she taught thousands of young people to read and write and think.
Ann took joy in nature and literature. And for all her life long, she danced every dance and sang every song.
