Compton studied International Relations at Yale before obtaining her MAT from Duke University. Shortly thereafter, Compton moved to Indianapolis to teach at Brebeuf Preparatory where she served as Social Studies Department Chair. In her free time, Compton enjoyed volunteering at the Children's Museum preschool. The Indianapolis Star ran a more extensive obituary on Compton on October 3, 2019. It can be found here. |
