In Remembrance: George A. Chauncey ’52BD Died on November 24 2019

Rev. George A. Chauncey passed away on November 24, 2019, after a long illness. He “led a remarkable and courageous life as a Presbyterian minister, peace and civil rights activist, and prophetic voice in the church,” his son wrote. His papers reside at the Yale Divinity School.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC.
