Obituaries

In Remembrance: Lloyd A. Hamilton Jr. ’50 Died on November 9 2019

Lloyd Alexander Hamilton Jr. died peacefully on November 9, 2019, at the age of 92. He served in the US Navy for two years as a medical corpsman, and after Yale and medical school he practiced internal medicine and psychiatry in the New York area.

A full obituary was published in the Westchester Journal News on November 16, 2019.

    I did not know Mr. Hamilton, but my friend just found his Yale application in a book in someone's attic (I believe in New Jersey). The book was about nautical navigation and astronomy. I am currently a Yale student and my friend sent photos of the application to me. If his family would like the application, please let me know. (holden.ward@yale.edu).
